Dri-FIT products are made from at least 50% recycled polyester, which cuts emissions by roughly 30% in comparison to virgin polyester. The moisture-wicking fabric engineering uses an inner layer that pulls sweat and an outer layer that quickly evaporates moisture, removing sweat from the skin. It does not rely on chemical coating but on the microfibre structure and the fabric's weave. It's great for everyday training and general workouts.
Aero-FIT — Engineered for Airflow
Aero-FIT manages sweat by circulating air rather than wicking moisture directly. The high-crimp yarn, engineered at stitch level, moves through the garment and across the skin, giving it unrivalled breathability. It has integrated Dri-FIT moisture management, with the additional Aero-FIT layer to maximise airflow. The fabric is constructed from textile waste and has integrated zones in the template design to intensify airflow where it matters most. It's Nike's first elite performance fabric apparel made entirely from textile waste.
Therma-FIT — Built for Cold-Weather Retention
Therma-FIT is a polyester microfibre blended with spandex and lyocell at an approximately 93% / 7% ratio. It retains body heat in cold conditions using the polyester microfibre with a velvet layer fluffed on both sides to act as an air cushion. It is used together with Dri-FIT wicking so the garment can comfortably retain heat and manage moisture at the same time.
Storm-FIT — Weatherproofing from Waste
Storm-FIT uses a layer of ultrafine microfibre polyester coated with a highly breathable laminate that is insulating to the wearer whilst keeping them dry. Recycled nylon can be sourced from recycled carpet and used fishing nets, cleaned and converted into new yarn. This is a third recycling system, comparative to Dri-FIT's bottle-based and Aero-FIT's chemically recycled textile waste.
AeroSwift — Where Material Meets Competitive Design
Then you have AeroSwift, the design collection that utilises Dri-FIT material tech as its material base, constructed in a layered system that is bonded to prevent chafing, with strategically placed ventilation holes inserted into the mesh constructions. It is Nike's iconic racing gear signature piece, used on singlets, tights and tops with race-specific cuts throughout.
