Terms & Conditions — Drop Radar

1. Acceptance

By accessing Drop Radar (the "Service") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Drop Radar aggregates sportswear product launch information, share prices, trend signals and shopping feeds from third-party sources and mock datasets for informational and research purposes only.

3. Data accuracy disclaimer

Important: The data shown on Drop Radar — including launches, prices, share prices, trend scores, regional breakdowns, currency conversions, and shopping results — is provided "as is" and may from time to time be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate or incorrect. Portions of the data are synthetic / demonstration data and not real market events. You must not rely on it for trading, purchasing, investment, legal or commercial decisions. Always verify with the original brand, retailer or regulated market data provider before acting.

4. No financial advice

Share prices and any market signals are indicative only, may be delayed, and do not constitute financial, investment or trading advice.

5. Intellectual property & copyright

All original content published on Sportswear Drop — including editorial articles, category and specialist page copy, headlines, summaries, curated product selections, rankings, data compilations, charts, layout, design, code, icons and imagery created by us — is © Sportswear Drop, all rights reserved, and protected by copyright and database rights.

Brand names, logos, product names and third-party product images remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only.

You may quote short extracts (up to roughly 50 words) for review, commentary or news reporting, provided you credit "Sportswear Drop" and include a visible, followable link to the original page. Any other reproduction requires our prior written permission.

6. Acceptable use & prohibited copying

Without our prior written permission, you must not:

copy, republish, mirror, syndicate, translate or redistribute our content, in whole or in substantial part;
scrape, crawl, spider, harvest or bulk-download the Service using automated tools, scripts or headless browsers;
extract or re-use our data compilations, rankings or curated listings to build a competing product or dataset;
use our content, text or images to train, fine-tune or ground machine-learning or generative AI systems;
remove, obscure or alter copyright notices, attribution or source links;
resell, sublicense or commercially exploit any part of the Service, or attempt unauthorised access to it.

Automated access is permitted only to the search-engine and answer-engine crawlers expressly allowed in our robots.txt, and strictly in accordance with it. Excessive or abusive automated requests may be rate-limited or blocked.

6a. Copyright complaints & takedown (DMCA)

If you believe content on Sportswear Drop infringes your copyright, or if you find our content republished elsewhere without permission, contact us at sarah [at] sarahlouisedesigns [dot] com with: the URL(s) concerned, identification of the original work, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf. We respond to valid notices promptly and issue takedown requests to hosts, search engines and ad networks where our own content is copied.

6b. EU database right (sui generis)

Our launch listings, price compilations, material and technology datasets, rankings and curated selections are the result of substantial investment in obtaining, verifying and presenting the data. We assert the sui generis database right under Directive 96/9/EC (and equivalent national implementations across the EEA and UK) in these compilations, in addition to copyright.

Extraction and/or re-utilisation of the whole, or of a substantial part (evaluated qualitatively or quantitatively), of these databases is prohibited without our prior written consent. Repeated and systematic extraction of insubstantial parts — including automated scraping, API replay or bulk export — is likewise prohibited, as it conflicts with normal exploitation of the database and unreasonably prejudices our legitimate interests.

6c. Reporting illegal content (EU Digital Services Act)

In line with Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act), you can notify us of content on this site that you consider illegal — including infringing, misleading or unlawful material — by emailing sarah [at] sarahlouisedesigns [dot] com with the subject line "DSA notice". Please include the exact URL(s), an explanation of why the content is illegal, your name and contact email, and a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith. We acknowledge notices without undue delay, review them diligently and non-arbitrarily, and inform you of our decision and available redress options.

6d. Consumer rights & commercial communications

Sportswear Drop is an information and comparison service; we do not sell products. Where links to retailers or brands are affiliate links, they are labelled as such before the click, in line with EU consumer protection and unfair commercial practices rules. Prices, availability and offers shown are indicative and set by the third-party retailer — your purchase contract, statutory 14-day withdrawal right, warranty and complaint handling are with that retailer, not with us.

EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory statutory rights under the law of your country of residence.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Drop Radar and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its data.

8. Third-party data sources & attribution

Drop Radar aggregates data from third-party APIs under their respective licences and terms of service. All data is provided "as is" without warranty. Sources include:

Market data: share prices via Finnhub.
Search & shopping trends: Google Trends, Google Shopping and Google News data accessed via SerpApi, a licensed search-results provider.
Community signals: Reddit discussions via the Reddit API (RapidAPI).
Geolocation: currency region detection via ipapi.co.
Product launch and social-tag data: partly synthetic / demonstration content.

All trademarks, brand names and product imagery remain the property of their respective owners. Affiliate links, where present, are clearly labelled and operate through authorised partner programs.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
